Mandre is situated on mid west coast of north Dalmatian island Pag which is connected to the shore by the bridge. Small berth and community of family houses within the deep pine forest, with inhabitants completely devoted to tourism. Therefore, in Mandre, you will find everything that you need for a pleasant family holiday. Since the town has developed in Maun Bay you will be allowed for safe berthing. Since the Island Pag has been known by its sand and pebble beaches, Mandre is very convenient for families with children. On the other hand, Novalja is the next larger tourist town, 10 km far from Mandre and it has all the facilities and characteristics of developed tourist centre, sports fields and very rich cultural programmes.

Our recommendations to visit:
Novalja / Kolan: town within the island, 4 km far from Mandre, known for it s ethnographic collection; Šimuni: one of the larges marinas of the entire Adriatic Sea
Pag: island Maun in front of the Maun Bay

Arrival to Mandre: Across the Pag bridge: take the main island road, about 30 km towards Novalja, until you reach Kolan where you should turn left to a local road for Mandre.
From the car ferries port in Žigljen: 10 km south with main island road towards Kolan where you turn to Mandre.

Island Pag is about 60 kilometers long and between two and 9.25 kilometers wide, It has the longest coastline of all the Adriatic islands. The 84 kilometers of coastline mainly consists of coves with pebbles and sandy beaches, ideal for tourists who like bathing in the sea. The beach of Zrca on the northwest side of Pag Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast. Seaside tourism is helped by the climate. There is a long dry hot season and the mean monthly temperature from May to September is 20 degrees Centigrade.

The island of Pag seen from above has two Dinaric limestone ribs, of which the eastern one is cut by the Straits of Pag; the central part of the basin between the two ribs is covered by the sea, forming the Bay of Pag. Whipped mercilessly by the bura, the eastern coast of the island is higher, steeper and barer than the western coast where the mistral and the wind from the south blow. The landscape of the island is marked by the striking contrast between the bare cliffs and green pastures enclosed by stone walls on the one side, and the Mediterranean valleys on the other. On Lunski Peninsula, the cultivated olive groves are interspersed with clusters of wild olive trees.
