Žal Zrće in the northwestern part of the bay of Pag is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic. Swimming tourism is also favored by the climatic conditions with the dry summers of the year and the average monthly temperature above 20 degrees from May to September, allowing for a long season.

In the relief of the island there are two dinaric elongated limestone beams, of which the eastern gate was interrupted by the Paška Vrata, and the central vaulted line, which was in the central part submerged in the Pag Bay. The east coast is taller, steeper and more naked than the west. There is a strong wind called Bura, and the western side has mild and warm south wind.

In the landscape of the island dominates the contrast between the rocks and the plateau with the fences of the stonewalls, and green, mediterranean cultured valleys and the lower parts of the plateau. There are olive groves on peninsula Lunski, among which there are wild olive groves.
